Awakening leads to apprenticeship

I've embarked on a spiritual journey that was initiated by a sober recovery.  As of today I have 610 days of sobriety. I am not the same girl I was 610 days ago, or 365 days ago. The outcome of a failed relationship in September of this year lead me to make a call to my dear friend. As I look to him for guidance and support it was a Monday afternoon that I talked with him. He had suggested (again) a special course called Awakening offered by the Inspiration Community. I was not at all interested months before as my ego told me I didn't need it, I couldn't afford it and quite frankly I was scared. Nonetheless I googled the website, found the number and made the call. What I didn't know at first was I was speaking to the Founder of the school. I explained I was in a rough place in life and I wanted to "begin loving myself so that I could love others." She immediately connected to my needs and graciously invited me to join the course. Low and behold it was starting in 2 days! I made a payment and was on my way to Awakening.  The last 8 weeks were spent pursuing an understanding of my inner self through meditating through the 7 energy centers. It was a exhilarating experience that I will never forget.

The next step in this journey is my commitment to a 365 day spiritual apprenticeship which is where my writings will begin. Last evening I spent an enchanting evening meeting new faces of my community and learning to love my spine.
