Anahata - the very existence of who I am, where I've come from and where I'd like to go. When i sat a few weeks ago thinking of what to blog about I was reminded of Love. I was in a place of remembrance of an old friend and how much I loved him. It was then I thought and felt green, heart chakra, Love, ANAHATA! It only made sense. It follows me. It talks to me. I connect. I wanted to learn the ins and outs of the heart chakra so I googled... 

Anahata symbolises the consciouness of love, empathy, selflessness and devotion. On the psychic level, this center of force inspires the human being to love, be compassionate, altruisic, and devoted, and to accept divine actions. In the symbolic picture of Anahata Chakra there is a lotus with twelve petals. These represent the Divine qualities of the heart, such as bliss, peace, harmony, love, understanding, empathy clarity, purity, unity, compassion, kindness and forgiveness (internet). 

So from the divine qualities we attempt to conquer balance. With recovery I'm finding internal love, empathatic, selflessness and devoted awareness. I find stuck in the awareness at times, then focus on the gratitude of my progress. A year and a half ago I was not aware of anything. Progress is a process. I'm finding me, love and balance.
